Sri Lanka takes you on a magical safari.
It might be close to India, but there is much to Sri Lanka that Indians don’t know about.
Sri Lanka is an island paradise, just awakening from the ravages of decades of civil war.
It’s one of the world’s most underrated destinations.
And one of the most beautiful. We will keep your heart rate up on this breathtaking journey.
Not for the faint-hearted.
It’s fun.
It’s exciting.
It’s Sri Lanka.
Arrive in Sri Lanka and transfer to Thotupola, Piliyandala, for two nights.
Your adventure begins here!
It will be a long day, but probably, the most fun you will ever have in a day!
Here, in Thotupola, you will set off for a day of canoeing and abseiling.
After breakfast leave for Elephant Reach, Tissamaharama for two nights.
Elephant Reach is close to the Yala National Park.
This is your base for an exploration of Yala National Park, one of Sri Lanka’s premier biodiversity hotspots.
Morning and evening game drives at Yala National Park.
Morning and evening game drives at Yala National Park.
After breakfast, leave for Ella Adventure Park for two nights.
Trek down to the campsite.
Full day at Ella where you will engage in adventure sports such as Sky Roping, Abseiling, and trekking.
The park is a blend of serenity and tranquility, and we guarantee that adrenaline junkies will get their fix here.
Today, you will head down to the pristine hillcountry of Nuwara Eliya.
Breathe in the fresh tea air, but well, it’s not like you have been inhaling smoky jet fumes from crowded cities anyway!
Nature is always close to you in Sri Lanka.
Rest a while before heading to Victoria Park.
Escape to a dreamy world of grasslands and cloud forests at the Horton Plains National Park.
We love the strangely-named viewpoint, World’s End.
But really, nothing is to end here, except your search for peace.
Soak in nature.
And just allow yourself to be caressed by Nature.
You will make your way to Kithulgala where you will stay the next two nights.
In the afternoon, visit the Kelani Valley Forest Reserve, which is another of Sri Lanka’s gems, rich in endemic flora and fauna.
See if you can spot the Sri Lanka Myna, Green-billed Coucal, Spot-winged Thrush, Sri Lanka Blue Magpie, Sri Lanka Spurfowl, or the Brown-capped Babbler.
Time to get back into action with white-water rafting at Kithulgala.
In the afternoon, take a peek at the Belilena Prehistoric Caves.
Take a look at the breathtaking rubber plantations of Kithulgala.
The caves will take you back in time. Far back in time, as we wonder at some of the earliest remnants of civilization in this ancient land.
Your last night will be at Talangama, where you will hear the clarion call of birds and enjoy visiting our green-feathered friends.
Stay tuned to more escapades as you make your way of Colombo.
